Trevecca’s athletic department has undergone a visual rebranding, organizational changes, and added a 10-year broadcast agreement after joining the Gulf South Conference this summer.
“These moves allow us to further capitalize on the momentum generated from our success last season and are harmonious with the renewed energy that goes along with our move to the Gulf South,” said Director of Athletics Mark Elliot in a press release.
The Trojans had a full visual rebrand and licensing and apparel agreements with Nike and BSN Sports for both athletic uniforms and fan merchandise.
This is the first rebrand for Trevecca athletics since the early 2000s.
“We are thrilled to support the Trojan athletic program in partnership with NIKE to elevate their athlete experience,” said Todd Northrop, vice president of BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select Program in a press release.
The athletic program has also made organizational changes to adapt with the change in conference, adding new leadership positions for a better transition to the Gulf South Conference.
These changes are to accommodate an increase in student athlete enrollment. It is estimated that there are around 400 student athletes on campus for the 2024-2025 school year, according to Trevecca’s athletic department.
This number is the highest in school history, according to Trevecca athletics.
“It’s a perfect time for all Trevecca teams to offer a consistent, refreshed look that will enhance recruiting opportunities, nurture alumni pride, and bring national recognition to our programs,” Elliot said.
The athletic department has also partnered with Nashville Sports Radio to broadcast men’s and women’s basketball and baseball on WNSR Sports Radio beginning with this year’s homecoming games.
“There’s something about listening to sports on the radio, and there is added value for our teams to get their games in front of the fans who tune in daily to Nashville Sports Radio,” said Elliot in a press release.
