Two Trevecca students, two John Lennon contests

By Adam Wadding Two Trevecca students have been named finalists in two prestigious song writing contests. Junior Stefanie Wienecke and Sophomore Andrea Corzine both placed in contests named after the Beatles legend John Lennon. The BMI John Lennon Songwriting program, entered by Corzine, awards scholarships to the best original composition for vocal instrumental performance. Corzine is among the top 40 finalists of the 96 contestants that entered.  She’ll know in June if she’s won a $10,000 scholarship or one of the $5,000 scholarships the runners-up will receive. (more…)
