After more than 10 years of FNL, Trevecca’s SGA is opting to forgo tradition and try something new: a game show where students in the audience can participate.

Trevecca Nazarene University’s SGA is bringing a fresh twist to its usual Friday night tradition. This year, the popular Friday Night Live event will take a break, making room for a high-energy game show.
In a move to shake things up and offer something new, SGA has swapped the usual live entertainment format with an exciting night of games and friendly competition. The Big Game Show will feature thrilling games inspired by TV classics like “Family Feud” and “Jeopardy!”.
“We want to have more student engagement,” said Anna Gilbert, SGA Director of Social Life. “The Big Game Show is an opportunity for everyone to let loose and compete in a fun, interactive way.”
The event is set to be filled with laughs, friendly rivalry, and memorable moments. Unlike Friday Night Live, which typically features live performances, The Big Game Show will allow students to engage directly in the action.
Kamryn Sanderfer, director of marketing for SGA, expressed her excitement about the shift in programming. “We have a team putting out promotions and getting ready for the event,” she said. “We can’t wait to see how students get involved.”
The Big Game Show is free and open to all Trevecca students. The doors will open at 6:45 p.m., with the first game kicking off at 7p.m.
