Planning a good Valentine’s experience can be difficult on a college student’s budget; here is a list of some of the on-campus events that won’t break the bank.
Silent Sky Performance
February 7-16, Benson Auditorium
Catch a performance of Silent Sky, the story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt. This play explores the scientific and personal discoveries that changed how we understand the world. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for kids and seniors, and $10 for students with ID.

Blind Date with a Book
February 10-17, Waggoner Library
Visit the library and pick up a wrapped book that you can take and keep for free! There’s a limited supply so grab one while you still can.
Valentine’s Day Serenading
Throughout the week of Valentine’s Day
Send a sweet serenade to anyone—a significant other, friend, or professor! The Center for Student Development is offering serenades for $3-$5, with all proceeds benefiting People Loving Nashville.

Hub Selling Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

Pick up a sweet treat from the Hub! They’re selling chocolate-covered strawberries to help you get ready for Valentine’s Day.
Delight Galentine’s Party
Tuesday, February 11, 6:30 p.m, Wakefield Auditorium.
Celebrate friendship at this fun, free Galentine’s event! Enjoy pancakes, coloring, games, and more to get in the Valentine’s Day spirit.

Valentine’s Day Tag Fundraiser
Thursday, February 13, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., University Commons C-Store
Support a mission trip to New York this spring break by grabbing pre-made flower bouquets, drinks, snacks, and even a couple’s photo! There will also be a challenge between department faculty for the best awkward JCPenney-style photo—winners get baked goods for their entire department! Photos are $5 and Food & drinks are $2-$5. All proceeds go toward TAG, sending students on a mission trip during spring break.

Join the SWEET team for a fun round of Valentine’s-themed Bingo. Prizes and plenty of laughs are guaranteed!
Valentine’s Day Party

The Trevecca Class of 2027 is hosting a Valentine’s Party with free appetizers, desserts, a live jazz band, and foxtrot dance lessons with the Trevecca Social Dance Club.
Harvest Hands Sneaker Ball (Valentine’s Dance)

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with local elementary school students at this heartwarming event. Enjoy snacks, crafts, and dancing while earning chapel credit. Hosted by Carolyn Johnson and ASB student chaplain Jeremiah Carlton.
