Taste the Nations returns with food, performances and World Cup theme. 

By Michelle Loria Alvarado Executive Editor The international student council will be hosting Taste the Nations at Trevecca Community Church on April 17 starting at 6 p.m. “Taste the Nations is the one time you get to be in a room with people from all over the world and to actually get to meet them, and get to see their culture,” said David Moran, sophomore electrical and computer engineering major and this year’s Taste the Nations’ host.  At Taste the Nations, the International Student Council showcases cultures from different parts of the world through food and performances. International student club hosts 8th annual Taste the Nations

By Manon Lane More than 200 people took a global tour without leaving Trevecca’s campus Friday night, as the international student club NAMASTE, hosted the eighth annual Taste the Nations. Trevecca students, faculty and staff had the opportunity to sample food from 15 different countries before the global entertainment and worship began. “I really like the Chinese food,” said Trevecca freshman Dalisa White, who looked forward to tasting food from different countries as a way to prepare for international travel. This summer she will spend a week in El Salvador on her first mission trip. (more…)
