Trevecca health clinic open for fall semester

Students on campus who get sick have a couple of options for on-campus healthcare this year. 

The Trevecca Nazarene University clinic is open and will maintain its regular hours for the fall 2026 semester, serving students, faculty and staff from its location in the basement of Georgia Hall.

Family nurse practitioner Charly Taylor said her goal is to help students better understand their bodies and make wise decisions about their health.

“I will help them know their own bodies well and learn to trust their own discernment and their human body,” Taylor said.

The clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and provides students, faculty and staff with a variety of health services. Services include rapid testing for flu A and B, COVID-19, strep, and mono, as well as blood work. 

Tiffany Beerling, the clinic administrative assistant , is also available five days a week for questions, help with Timely Care and non-medical services. Beerling is there as a resource for students and faculty. 

Students can also receive free, 24/7 medical services through a telehealth service called TimelyCare.

TimelyCare is staffed by licensed health care providers who can provide medical advice, prescriptions and excuse notes for Trevecca students.

Through SharePoint, TimelyCare can be accessed for free at any time throughout the U.S.

Services at the clinic are free, and walk-ins are accepted but appointments are recommended because the clinic has limited space. 

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email or through a link on SharePoint, which also provides a list of urgent care centers and specialists recommended by the clinic and a list of other services.
