Students made many late night efforts this weekend preparing for Trevecca SGA’s 72-Hour Film Festival at Trevecca.

The teams of students were assigned a genre last Friday at 9 p.m. and have until Monday at 9 p.m. to complete a short film, which fulfills not only their genre but also other set tasks for bonus points.

Some of the student teams include TJ Haynes & Hillary Frame; Kaylon King, Sarah Hogan, Hope Kenerly, and Maci Shingleton; Jared Queen and Carmel Johnson; and last year’s champions Tyler Lippman and Nathan Brooks. Genres include romance, superhero, sci-fi fantasy, action adventure, and documentary.

The film fest showing is this Wednesday, April 1st at 9 p.m. in the Boone Business Building.
