72-Hour Film Fest winners announced

Trevecca’s annual 72-Hour Film Festival winners were announced at this year’s Friday Night Live.

On February 11, the annual event was held at a crowded Belcourt Theatre. Students were given genres and wild cards to include in their films, and had a total of 72 hours to put together their films. Ten films were entered in the competition. The audience was given ballots as they walked in, and served as the judges for the evening.

The winners in the five categories are as follows:

  • ·         Best overall: Entirely Western
  • ·         Best genre usage: Entirely Western
  • ·         Best use of wild cards: The Library
  • ·         Best actor: TJ Haynes
  • ·         Best actress: Sydney Maxfield
