ASB election results; class council elections this week

By Katie Schimmelpfennig

Kristin Lester is the new ASB student service director for next year.

After three rounds of voting Lester won in the second run-off election against Chelsea Hardy and Graham Scott on Friday.

Johnna Hill, ASB vice president whom oversees elections, would not comment on voting percentages; however, 145 people voted, she said.

The current ASB executive councils voted the winner to be elected by plurality, the student with the most votes.

Class council elections for SGA will be held Tuesday though Thursday during lunch and dinner at the SGA booth in Jernigan Lobby.

Candidates will give speeches at their class chapel Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Freshman will meet at Trevecca Community Church, sophomores will meet at Moore Gymnasium, juniors will meet at Tarter Student Activity Center and seniors will meet at Wakefield for class chapels.
