Michael France scored a game high 24 points as he and the Trevecca Trojans (9-9) found a way out of their shooting slump to stop a three game skid and get back to a game of .500 in TranSouth play at 2-3 by defeating visiting Lyon College (6-10, 0-4).
The two teams traded a total of 36 turnovers and as in the previous game, the game was won when Trevecca converted their 19 turnovers into 24 points, while Lyon converted just 10.
The Trojans ended the first half and began the second on an 8-2 run before the two teams traded baskets for much of the second half. The lead grew to as many as 13 points and the Trojans held on for a seven point victory.
Peyton Henry and JP Nyadaro both added 10 points off the bench for the Trojans.
Slater Belew led the Scots with 13 points.
The Trojans will take a week off from games and will host No. 17 Union University next Thursday night (1-20).
